Laura O’Hagan
Laura O’Hagan was born and educated in Ireland, and graduated from NCAD in 1986. Based in Delgany, County Wicklow, she produces sculptural ceramics, murals, 2D and 3D mosaics for exterior and interior, for private individuals and corporate clients, working mainly to commission and sometimes as an educator.
Best known works include: Belfast (Holy Family Church) - award winner for integrated art in architecture, Longford (St Mel’s) - architectural award winner, Dundrum Church, The Church - Mary St, Wicklow (Temple Carraig School - percent for art scheme) and restoration works at the National Gallery of Ireland and National Museum of Ireland.
Inherent in her work is an obsession with primal forces generated by life, dreams and their consequences.
