The August Craft Month (ACM) 2026

This year, the Mosaic Artists of Ireland (MAAI) will be taking part in the ACM'26 by offering a FREE for members one-day creative event with experienced artist Laura O'Hagan, in her studio in Wicklow, to make a colourful, creative mosaic.

MAAI's workshop begins with a relaxed drawing session to generate original ideas for the mosaic designs. These ‘cartoons’ will be developed into mosaics using handmade ceramic pieces.

Laura has a large range of tiles available which can be smashed and cut to form the mosaics. The tiles will be stuck to a backer board and the mosaic design completed over the course of the day. Grout is provided to finish the mosaic at home.

Vegetarian lunch provided plus all day teas and coffees.
