Laura O’Hagan was born and educated in Ireland, graduated from NCAD in 1986. Based in Kilpedar, County Wicklow, she produces sculptural ceramics, murals, 2D and 3D mosaics for exterior and interior, working mainly to commission (public and private) and sometimes as an educator. Internationaly her work is in Denmark, NY and China where she was a guest of the Minister for Culture.                Best known works include: Belfast (Holy Family Church) - award winner for integrated art in architecture, Longford (St Mel’s) - architectural award winner, Dundrum Church and garden,  The Church - Mary St, Dublin, Temple Carraig secondary School, Greystones, Co.Wicklow - percent for art scheme, and restoration works at the National Gallery of Ireland and National Museum of Ireland. Inherent in her work is an obsession with primal forces generated by life, dreams and their consequences.
